PPPshar Settings for Mapped pop3 proxy

If the following two scenarios are applicable to your email accounts, then modify pppshar settings as mentioned below. 1) Some email servers will not accept the # character that you enter in the username field to receive emails through PPPshar. 2) When you need to enter email account username as "username@yourmaildomain.com" Solution: Add a new tcp mapping service in PPPshar Pro. Here is how.... Go to PPPsharPro-->Settings Disable #pop3 by changing enable=yes to enable=no and Add the following to the settings file. #mail service=mail map=tcp host=EnterYourPop3ServerAddressHere listen=110 remote=110 enable=yes Save and restart pppshar. Then in the client pc email software just enter your username as required by your email server or your ISP.
