Microsoft Outlook 2000 Click on Tools to open a drop down menu Click on Account and click on the Mail tab Click on Add and select Mail Enter a Display Name Click on Next Enter your return e-mail address Click on Next Select POP3 mail server from the drop down box In the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers enter the IP address of the pppshar machine Click Next In the Pop Account Name field, enter your POP3 account in this pattern - username#pop3server.com ( Replace pop3server.com with your actual POP3 server like pop.ibm.net. Consult your ISP or refer gateway machine settings to find out your pop3 host. (note the # sign. Do not use @ sign ) Ex: username#server.ibm.net where server.ibm.net is your pop3 server. ) Enter your password for that account Click on Next, Enter a Friendly Name and Click Next Click Connect using my LAN and click Next and Finish
